  Properties:
Hg 4.8 µg/L

Remarks:
A certified reference material, NIMD-02, was developed primarily for mercury speciation analysis. We collected low-concentration urine and made 1000 sets (per set: 4 mL x 4 bottles). Extended uncertainty was estimated taking into account sample uniformity, long-term and short-term stability, and characterization from measurements made by the collaborative laboratory. A short-term stability test for 4 weeks at 37°C was conducted to consider overseas shipment. A temperature indicator for 37°C is enclosed with the actual product. Immediately after receiving the product, store in a clean place at less than −20°C and avoid light.

Intended Use:
The purpose of this CRM is to control analytical accuracy or to verify the effectiveness of analytical methods or instruments for analyzing trace elements in urine.

Remarks:
A certified reference material, NIMD-01, was developed for the analysis of mercury speciation in human hair. We collected the hair of Vietnamese males from a barbershop in Hanoi in 2016 and prepared 1,200 bottles containing 3 g of sieved and blended hair powder. The values for methylmercury and total mercury, as well as other trace elements, such as copper, zinc, selenium, and arsenic, because the levels of these elements in human hair may have nutritional and toxicological implications. Extended uncertainties were estimated by sample homogeneity, long- and short-term stabilities, and a characterization from measurements made by collaborating laboratories. Gray powder / brown glass bottle / approximately 3g / This CRM should be stored in a clean place below 35 ℃ protected from light. (Recommended for freezing and refrigeration)

Intended Use:
The purpose of this CRM is to control analytical accuracy or to verify the effectiveness of analytical methods or instruments for analyzing trace elements in hair.
