To ask this CRM send an e-mail to mrc-solicitacao@inmetro.gov.br, This Certified Reference Material (CRM) consists of potassium chloride (KCl) salt from a commercial producer. The MRC batch was prepared after sieving, quartering and homogenization steps previously applied to a quantity of salt. Representative samples from the batch were placed in glass bottles each containing approximately 15 g of KCl.

Intended use

Cm Use

The MRC is intended to provide metrological traceability to the results of titration measurements of
precipitation, highly accurate preparation of electrolytic conductivity solutions for calibration and
analytical determination of potassium and chloride ions. The commutativity of this material has not
been evaluated.
