To ask this CRM send an e-mail to mrc-solicitacao@inmetro.gov.br, This CRM consists of a solution gravimetrically prepared from the dissolution of potassium hydrogen phthalate (0.05 mol/kg) using deionized water (with initial conductivity lower than 0.1 μS/cm). Before bottling, the prepared solution was stirred for 24 hours. The CRM was bottled in plastic bottles (high-density polyethylene or polypropylene), each one containing approximately 250 mL of solution.

Intended use

Cm Use

This CRM is intended to be used in the calibration of pH meters, quality control of pH measurements
and characterization of new batches of pH CRM. The commutability of this material was not evaluated.
