PACS-3 is a marine Sediment Certified Reference Material (CRM) from the National Research Council Canada (NRC) for total and extractable metal content. A unit of PACS-3 consists of approximately 50 grams of marine sediment. This material is intended for use in the calibration of procedures and the development of methods for the determination of trace metals and matrix constituents in marine sediments and materials with similar matrices. Reference values for extractable mass fraction based on BCR and Tessier sequential extraction are also presented in the CoA. https://doi.org/10.4224/crm.2013.pacs-3
