Intended Use:
It is designed to determine mass discrimination in Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS. ERM-AE124 may also be used for isotope tracer studies and as spike for isotope dilution analysis. In the latter case, however, the characterization of the boron mass fraction by reverse IDMS at the time of use might be advisable, when low measurement uncertainties (<1 % relative) are aimed at.
