Remarks:
ERM-BF434d is one of five 73496 rapeseed powder certified reference materials (CRMs) containing different mass fractions of this genetically modified rapeseed. ERM-BF434d has been produced from non-modified rapeseed and genetically modified 73496 rapeseed, both supplied by DuPont Pioneer (Iowa, US). According to the information provided by DuPont Pioneer, both copies of the A genome in the amphidiploid genetically modified 73496 rapeseed (AACC) carry the transgenic insert. As the FatA(A) reference gene assay only amplifies the FatA gene copy on the A genome of Brassica napus, the ratio between transgene and reference gene targets is one to one. In accordance with Commission Regulation (EC) No 65/2004, the 73496 rapeseed event was assigned the unique identifier code DP-Ø73496-4. The CRM is supplied in amber glass bottles containing at least 1 g rapeseed powder packed under argon atmosphere. Bottles should be stored dry and in the dark at (4°+/-3°)C *** For more information see https://crm.jrc.ec.europa.eu/p/ERM-BF434d *** Additional keywords: 73496 rapeseed, GMO event, DP-073496-4, DP-Ø73496-4, colza, oilseed
