To give an impression on the content of the data base COMAR we show some
examples for different kinds of certified properties.

• chemical composition (element or molecule (CAS-number))
• physical properties (ISO Standard Handbook "Quantities and units" 1993)
• conventional properties (standards)

Below you will find some overviews of CRMs for the fields of environmental and biological CRMs.
The first two diagrams show the distribution of environmental and biological CRMs according to their sub-categories used for categorisation in COMAR.
The next two groups of diagrams "heavy metal constituents in matrix materials" and "organic constituents in matrix materials" have been set up using the detailed information stored in COMAR. The diagrams show for some selected analytes and matrices the content range covered by CRMs.
